   I am satisfied with the design and function of the book cover. So far I have not experienced the cracking on the spine that other owners have. However, there are situations when I need light. Although an attached light offered is ok it would be more sophisticated to have it built into the spine. Sony does this which makes it far more convenient than carrying an extra accessory. I would think Kindle would offer this option.

   I thought the cover was alright, there are not any pockets like the cover I had for the first generation.

   My cover has been discarded because the attaching points for the cover caused a crack in my Kindle DX frame. If you want a cover, choose one that has corner straps to hold the Kindle secure, not this one with the pin attachments.
