I ordered this for my 8 year old, and thought it was going to be “paper pages” and it did not have a young child rating, so I did not expect it to be cardboard pages-with simple one sentence verse thru out. I have purchased other books by this author which I really enjoyed with my child! But, I was just hoping that this book was something more than a young child book, that would challenge reading skills and be a book we could enjoy for a few more years. Not a “baby” book as my child calls the cardboard page books. I am disappointed that this book was not as represented, or I would not have ordered it. That being said, for the 5 and under kids, this will be a Great Easter-Spring gift! I just need to find something else to give my 8 year old.
