   As there are several hundred reviews that talk about various features and specs about kindle i will not share this on a review but i will like to point one important thing about kindle…

   The kindle has succeded in hiding the technology behind its core purpose and will make you read even more which in my opinion is the biggest success of Amazon.

   I got kindle few days ago and i read 300 pages of a book which i normally would never do with a ragular book in that timespan.

   We bought Kindles for 2 reasons: the large print option and the ability to travel with many books and no bulk. It is perfect. I have since learned how great it is for reading in bed; light weight and so easy to turn pages. I am adding a book light so that I can read in bed and not disturb my partner.    The voice mode does not pronouce all words clearly. This is very distracting when you want to just listen and not read. This mode needs Kindle attention

   OMG! The Kindle is the best. I have been looking at ebooks since they first started showing up on the market. However, I felt they were too small to be comfortable to read. When this newest version of Kindle came out with the bigger format I decided to give it a try and I love love love it. Worth every penny and I have almost paid for it already with what I am saving per book. I read 3-4 books per week. Thanks

   I purchased the Kindle DX Wireless Reader to download approach plates in aviation. Now I have the entire US database in the cockpit in an easy to use E-Reader. I also downloaded some aviation reference books using the Kindle DX Wireless. The Kindle DX is everything advertised and more.

   One thing I have yet to see in any reviews is this:

   How large, diagonally, is a typical paperback page?

   Knowing how a K2 or DX measures up against your standard reading media (trade paperback, hardback, or newspaper) might help a lot of people decide.

   if the K2 is equal or larger than a standard paperback page it would be ideal for people who use that media most often. Likewise the DX for people who have a ton of textbooks to slug around or read a lot of periodicals or newspapers.
