This translator serves as a handy speaking tool for international travellers and tourists.
It allows the user to cross translate 12 international languages and each language stores 700 commonly used travelling topic sentences.
You’ll be able to communicate easily and quickly in a foreign country.
Simply select the language, topic of conversation, and sentence you would like to speak using the LCD display.
The translator will display the sentence in the original language (usually English) and speak the sentence in the desired foreign language.

Words are spoken and displayed and the translator includes 8 frequently required categories : General, Emergency, Entertainment, Sightseeing, Direction, Restaurants, Transport and Hotel.
The device also features a world time daily alarm clock and calendar for 24 cities, and the display shows hour, minutes, day, date and month.
A built-in data-file stores up to 60 sets of phone numbers (with names) with a password security lock.
The translator has an LCD display with adjustable contrast, volume level selection (3 levels), key tone on/off switch, auto power off and display backlight which can be turned off to preserve batteries.

   I am looking for a device that I can speak into and it translates like a recorder…This proclaimed to be like that and it is not at all. I do not need it for travel, I need it for someone living in my home.

   I bought this for my daughters graduation trip to Italy. She is very pleased with it. While it met this essetial requitement she was delighted with the fact that it also enabled her to order in Japanese at her favorite restaurant.

   She would have liked to be able to type in random phrases, but the devices of those kind that we looked at were difficult to use and the voices sounded oddly drunken. This one doesn’t have any of thoses issues. the voice is just fine,

   I opened it right once it came in the mail, and played with it for like an hour! Its very nice. It comes with spare batteries, case to put it in, neck tie, and a ear piece. I am taking it on my trip to italy, I can’t wait

   I hope to learn most of phrases before i go though.

   It says the phrases aloud in english or one of the 12 languages and then in your choice of language. It will get you around where you need to go with the basics if you are traveling. I am not sure how long the batteries last thats why i rated it 3 stars in that catigory, but so far so good. I like that you can save the phrases you want so you dont have to go searching for ones you think you’ll use a lot again.

   Also includes an alarm and data file so you can store phone numbers.

   I wish it said more phrases…. but it has plenty, and some of the longer phrases are said a little fast so you have to listen to is acouple times. But over all very nice product, that’ll teach you the basics. I would tell my friends to buy it if they were to travel.

   I found this product a great buy!! The portability, ease of use, and scope of languages is super! I would reccomend this product for anyone that needs a simple multi-language translator going to Asia!! Very happ with this unit.

   I’m taking a tour of China in spring. I find this translator to be the best value of all I researched. I would have bought the LT11 model which is now selling for half the price, if it had been priced that way when I ordered. It is easy enough to operate and has many useful features. The talking translation is invaluable because I’m having a real problem with trying to speak the phrases in Chinese. I wish it had a feature that allowed you to type in a phrase for translation, but again, it is the best value available. I haven’t used it enough yet to determine battery use, but an extra set was included.
