The world is changing: the government has seized control of every aspect of society, and now, kids are disappearing.    this first book of the series is a good setup for Mr. Patterson and Ms Charbonnet to develop more fully, some very interesting characters and plots with a whole family of gifted witches and wizards. I look forward to the next adventure!
